## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- **Problem definition:** Define high-level opportunities with the potential to transform user experiences and business outcomes.
- **Ownership:** Own strategic, design-led projects from concept through delivery, advocating for customer-centered and innovative outcomes.
- **Execution:** Partner with the broader design organization to deliver designs with high standards of craftsmanship and usability, simplifying complex workflows for multiple customer groups.
- **Strategy:** Shape and execute design strategy, influence product strategy, and align strategic design initiatives with business goals in collaboration with Design, Product, and Engineering leadership.

## Requirements

- 10–15+ years in a senior individual contributor role, with a record of leading complex design initiatives that result in simple, elegant solutions.
- Portfolio demonstrating significant contributions to shipped customer experiences with measurable business and customer impact.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and leadership to influence design strategy and ensure successful execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder influence, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with using generative AI for exploration and prototyping.

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience leading design efforts in remote or distributed team environments across time zones and organizational silos.
- Experience leading company-wide initiatives to improve design quality, such as teaching prototyping classes or mentoring designers.

## Compensation and Benefits

- US Zone 2: **$200,400–$271,200 USD**
- US Zone 3: **$178,200–$241,000 USD**
