## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and maintain contract management, legal operations, and compliance systems.
- Own the legal technology stack, including CLM, e-billing, and matter management tools.
- Build and run contract intake and routing processes from request through signature.
- Support legal research, regulatory monitoring, and special projects.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, product, engineering, HR, and security to keep legal workflows moving.
- Manage outside counsel and legal vendor relationships, including billing, budgets, and engagement terms.
- Standardize, automate, or eliminate repetitive work using technology and AI.
- Track legal spend, contract volume, and turnaround time, and report on operational performance.
- Take on increasing ownership across legal operations, contracts, compliance, or business operations.

## Requirements
- Demonstrated ownership of complex work and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to review and quality-control large volumes of AI-generated content.
- Ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Experience building or materially improving processes.
- Ability to turn ambiguous requests into repeatable workflows.
- Exceptional organization and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with sales, finance, leadership, and legal stakeholders.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Intellectual curiosity about legal, business, and technology decisions.
- Advanced, regular use of AI tools is required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not currently available.
- A law degree is not required.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: **$140,000–$160,000 per year** for U.S.-based employees in San Francisco, adjusted based on location cost of living.
