## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered features end-to-end, from prototype through production.
- Design and run evaluations to measure and improve model and feature quality.
- Build and maintain data and inference pipelines powering AI features in production.
- Experiment with new models, prompting, and retrieval approaches to improve accuracy and cost.
- Support and collaborate with teammates.

## Requirements
- Experience with Python web development; Django experience is a bonus.
- Experience shipping AI features and understanding associated evaluation challenges.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI, including prompting, fine-tuning, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks and measuring model quality in production.
- Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval-based architectures.
- Understanding of tradeoffs among model cost, latency, and accuracy.
