## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build polished, high-converting purchasing experiences that help members discover digital experiences and enable communities to sell digital memberships, courses, and content at scale.
- Work autonomously to build and maintain applications with a Ruby on Rails backend and React and Next.js frontends.
- Implement Next.js best practices, including SSR/SSG, routing, and performance optimization.
- Proactively improve codebase quality, processes, and architecture.
- Collaborate with company leaders throughout feature design.
- Partner with designers to create a high-quality user experience.
- Prioritize rapid iteration while maintaining code and user-experience quality.

## Requirements
- **5+ years** of experience as a full-stack engineer working on complex, large-scale web applications.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL or PostgreSQL, React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Familiarity with both frontend and backend development.
- Ability to work autonomously, collaborate effectively, and take personal accountability.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and learning new technologies as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working on a fully distributed remote team.
- English proficiency at CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with creator platforms, social content and video feeds, or marketplaces.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation to optimize user experience, performance, and conversion in consumer-facing applications.
- Exposure to search, recommendation, and personalization systems at scale.
- Production experience with Next.js and hybrid React/Next.js systems for high-traffic applications.

## Compensation and Benefits
