## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define and lead communications strategy for cybersecurity work, including global narrative development, launches, research, threat reporting, and sustained storytelling.
- Develop a clear, differentiated narrative about strengthening cyber defense while responsibly developing and deploying advanced capabilities.
- Lead communications for cybersecurity products, model capabilities, research, partnerships, policy initiatives, and company milestones.
- Coordinate communications across earned, owned, executive, and social channels with Product, Research, Security, Preparedness, Safety, Global Affairs, Go-to-Market, Legal, and Marketing teams.
- Own media engagement and build relationships with cybersecurity, technology, national-security, policy, and business press.
- Advise senior leaders on positioning, messaging, launch strategy, reputation, and fast-moving security issues.
- Translate complex technical, security, product, and policy decisions into clear communications and establish messaging systems and operating rhythms.

## Requirements
- 12+ years of communications experience, including deep experience in cybersecurity, security technology, threat intelligence, national security, infrastructure, or another highly technical field.
- Strong press instincts and relationships, with a record of shaping narratives and securing meaningful coverage.
- Technical fluency sufficient to work credibly with security researchers, engineers, threat analysts, product leaders, and technical journalists.
- Experience communicating consequential products, research, threat findings, vulnerabilities, incidents, or policy issues in high-scrutiny environments.
- Exceptional judgment regarding accuracy, transparency, confidentiality, and risks arising from imprecise language.
- Experience advising senior executives and technical leaders through high-visibility moments.
- Ability to set strategy, execute details, and align diverse stakeholders behind a coherent narrative.

## Compensation
- Annual salary: $287,000–$318,000.
- Relocation assistance offered.
