## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Deliver full-system, application-level software features spanning software and hardware in C/C++, meeting customer requirements.
- Develop end-to-end software integrations in C/C++, including matrix headlight control, smart vehicle access via mobile app integration, and in-car voice assistant functionality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems that enable custom software feature integration for intelligent vehicles.
- Build a deep understanding of automotive system architecture and interactions between software and hardware components.
- Design and bring up test rigs for end-to-end system testing and on-vehicle validation.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot integrations between software components to ensure reliability and system performance.

## Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Understanding of electronic systems and how to set up and debug them.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

## Nice to Have
- Experience on a collegiate vehicle team, such as FSAE or Solar Car.
- Foundational knowledge of automotive electronics, including schematic reading, network topology, or system architecture.
- Familiarity with electronic control systems and debugging tools, including embedded systems and Arduino.
- Experience developing firmware for automotive subsystems such as lighting, latches, lock motors, powertrain, or mechanical systems.

## Compensation
- Salary range: $123,000–$158,000 annually.
