## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solutions Engineers aligned to Mid-Market, Enterprise, and Strategic Account Executives.
- Support discovery calls, live demonstrations, trial execution, and solution design.
- Deliver customized demonstrations aligned with buyer pain points and business outcomes.
- Drive operational excellence in proof-of-concept and trial workflows.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor on current capabilities and future product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Account Executives on technical evaluations, RFPs, and security reviews.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Marketing on communication and product feedback loops.
- Lead team initiatives and cross-functional projects that improve sales effectiveness, technical excellence, and customer impact.
- Support deal strategy, objection handling, and competitive positioning for the Canadian market.
- Partner with Business Value Services to reinforce ROI and customer outcomes.
- Monitor competitive trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to improve team enablement and execution.

## Requirements

- 5+ years of pre-sales leadership experience, ideally in a SaaS sales environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; a master's degree is a plus.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing Solutions Engineers.
- Strong understanding of value-based selling frameworks such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or Command of the Message.
- Familiarity with Solutions Engineering methodologies such as Demo2Win, Great Demo!, or similar.
- Strong organizational and team leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and scaling.
- Experience supporting sales cycles involving software, integrations, cloud platforms, and hardware.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.

## Nice to Have

- IoT or AI/ML experience.
- French language skills.

## Compensation and Benefits

- On-target earnings: **CAD $200,000–$285,000**.
- Compensation may vary based on location, education, work experience, and certifications.
- Total compensation may include restricted stock units (RSUs).
