## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own quality strategy across multiple products and engineering teams.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web applications, APIs, backend services, and integrations.
- Develop scalable, maintainable testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with software engineers during feature development to identify quality risks early.
- Define test plans, acceptance criteria, and release readiness for new product initiatives.
- Perform exploratory, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Drive automation-first testing practices while minimizing manual regression testing.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to ensure requirements are testable and complete.
- Monitor production quality metrics and investigate customer-reported issues with Engineering.
- Review test automation code, promote quality metrics, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Mentor engineers on testing best practices and help build a culture of shared quality ownership.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
- Experience building automated testing frameworks for modern SaaS applications.
- Experience testing REST APIs and microservice-based architectures.
- Experience with YAML-based testing.
- Proficiency with one or more automation frameworks, such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Ability to write automated tests in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and modern software development practices.
- Familiarity with SQL and validating data across relational databases.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience testing AI or machine-learning-enabled applications.
- Experience with healthcare software or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with performance, load, or security testing.
- Experience testing workflow automation platforms or enterprise SaaS products.
- Exposure to observability platforms such as Datadog or Grafana.
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
