## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for IT incidents and service requests through Jira Service Management, prioritizing tickets to meet SLA targets.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and account issues across departments.
- Back up and restore systems and data using Acronis or equivalent software.
- Support Windows and macOS endpoints; Ubuntu familiarity is helpful.
- Process access requests according to IT policies and escalate requests involving sensitive data or restricted software.
- Manage IT inventory, stock levels, equipment orders, and onboarding/break-fix supplies.
- Provision and deprovision accounts across Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD, and application platforms.
- Plan and execute hardware refresh cycles and track device lifecycle status.
- Manage MFA enrollment, resets, and exceptions with appropriate authorization.
- Prepare and image laptops and workstations for new hires.
- Conduct IT onboarding and offboarding, including account suspension, device recovery, and data preservation.
- Respond to first-line Fab/Production monitoring alerts; log, triage, and escalate as appropriate.
- Support Fab/Production tool owners and external vendors with cleanroom equipment issues involving IT.
- Manage patches, endpoint management platforms, configuration profiles, software deployment, and endpoint security baselines using WSUS, Microsoft Intune, and Jamf.

## Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or technical support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows and macOS.
- Experience with WSUS, MDT, Jamf, Intune, Active Directory, Okta, Google Workspace, and identity management.
- Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices and endpoint protection.
- Ability to work independently, triage issues, and resolve IT problems.
- Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
- Ability to image, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, workstations, and basic server hardware.
- Comfort replacing components and managing warranty and repair workflows.

## Nice-to-Haves
- PowerShell experience; Bash or Python familiarity.
- Experience supporting EDA tools such as Cadence or Synopsys, or Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and instrument-control environments.
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification.
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, research, cleanroom, controlled-environment, or quantum-computing facilities.
- Understanding of cleanroom protocols and ESD awareness.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- CompTIA+, Linux+, Microsoft Azure, or Cisco CCNA certification.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary: $80,000–$120,000.
