## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop account-specific adoption roadmaps across application modernization, developer, and AI platform domains.
- Map customer workloads to Cloudflare capabilities and define sequencing and milestones.
- Coordinate Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product resources against adoption milestones.
- Run the account-team operating rhythm and align internal teams on customer priorities.
- Build relationships with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, platform architects, and other technical decision-makers.
- Identify and qualify platform expansion opportunities, developing the business case and handing commercial-ready opportunities to Client Directors.
- Bring strategic customer requirements into Product roadmap discussions and provide quarterly briefings on adoption patterns, blockers, and feature needs.
- Drive platform adoption, expansion pipeline, net revenue retention, customer requirements, and blocker resolution across strategic accounts.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in customer engineering leadership, product management, consulting, or technical strategy within a global SaaS or infrastructure environment.
- 7+ years of deployment experience in a similar role or experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience as a customer engineering leader, consultant, or technical marketing engineer building, architecting, or deploying security solutions.
- Strong executive communication and influence skills, including the ability to engage C-level executives and internal product leaders.
- Strong knowledge of security architecture, design, and operations.
- Understanding of AI, enterprise security challenges, and their applicability to enterprise environments.
- Experience working with customers and partners to design and deploy successful solutions.
- Ability to drive multiple projects involving customers, prospects, and partners.
- Experience implementing cloud computing solutions, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS.
- Ability to explain complex technical behaviors and trends clearly.

## Nice to have
- Proven experience using AI to help drive revenue.
- Broad understanding of the threat landscape and emerging technology trends.
- Experience with Cloudflare Workers, R2, D1, Durable Objects, Workers KV, Pages, Queues, Workers AI, Vectorize, or AI Gateway.

## Compensation
- For New York City-based hires: estimated annual salary of $273,000 to $341,000, including on-target incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan.
- Eligible for Cloudflare’s equity plan.
