## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end revenue and accounts receivable cycle in NetSuite, including sales orders, invoicing, FRS102 revenue recognition, and monthly AR reconciliation.
- Drive month-end close to a defined timetable, completing close by working day four and ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are evidenced and reviewed by working day seven.
- Manage UK VAT compliance from preparation through filing, maintaining audit-ready workpapers and ensuring returns are reconciled, accurate, and submitted on time.
- Own UK payroll processing after the HiBob transition, including monthly runs and payroll-to-NetSuite reconciliations.
- Oversee banking, treasury, payment controls, cash-flow forecasting, and bank-account reconciliations.
- Act as a control point on payment runs to prevent unauthorized or duplicate payments.
- Deliver at least one process improvement or automation each quarter and keep SOPs current.

## Requirements
- End-to-end ownership of core finance processes in a fast-paced or high-growth environment, such as revenue, VAT, payroll, or month-end close.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience across multiple functional areas, including Advanced Revenue Management, intercompany transactions, and reconciliation workflows. NetSuite experience is required.
- Experience optimizing NetSuite and explaining day-to-day usage and prior configurations.
- Experience preparing and filing UK VAT returns, including coding, reconciliation, non-UK sales and purchases, and HMRC-ready documentation.
- Meaningful responsibility for month-end close, including sequencing, timetables, controls, and documentation.
- A track record of improving and automating manual processes while retaining appropriate manual controls.
- Honesty, clear written communication, and a collaborative working style.
