## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define the team's vision, set strategic direction, and execute a technical roadmap for conversion modeling.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team: recruit, mentor, and retain top ML talent.
- Oversee model development lifecycle from ideation to deployment, ensuring high standards of ML performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, data scientists, and engineering teams.
- Innovate in ML architecture for conversion prediction using deep learning and advanced techniques.

## Requirements
- 2+ years building and managing high-performing machine learning teams (tech lead experience considered).
- Deep hands-on experience with ML models in large-scale production systems.
- Experience with ads conversion modeling, ranking (heavy ranker), and recommendations.
- Expertise in model architectures (deep learning, ranking, recommendation, conversion modeling).
- Proficiency with ML frameworks (**TensorFlow**, **PyTorch**).
- End-to-end ML lifecycle: training, testing, deploying production models.
- Data pipelines for large-scale data generation and processing.
- Ads domain: interaction with ranking, bidding, auction, retrieval systems.
- Strategic thinking, impact-driven mindset, exceptional communication.

## Preferred
- Ads modeling or engagement prediction models experience.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $230,000—$322,000 USD.
