## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end relationship with background-check and drug/alcohol-testing vendors, including service performance, escalations, renewals, and issue resolution.
- Orchestrate all pre-employment checks from accepted offer through start date, coordinating with Recruiting Operations, Immigration Operations, and Onboarding Operations.
- Administer pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable-suspicion, and return-to-duty drug and alcohol testing programs for DOT and non-DOT populations.
- Design and document end-to-end processes, including a RACI defining cross-functional roles and responsibilities.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Employee Relations on adjudication, job-profile designation, and FCRA-compliant recordkeeping.
- Create training, documentation, and communications for recruiting, people operations, onboarding, and hiring managers.
- Monitor turnaround times, error rates, and candidate-experience data and drive continuous improvement.

## Requirements
- Experience administering background-check and/or drug and alcohol testing programs, preferably in a high-growth or regulated environment.
- Proven external vendor-management experience, including SLA accountability and service-issue resolution.
- Track record designing and documenting end-to-end cross-functional processes.
- Working knowledge of FCRA and DOT/PHMSA screening and testing requirements.
- Experience partnering with Recruiting, Onboarding, Compliance, Legal, and Employee Relations.
- Proficiency with ATS and HRIS platforms, such as Ashby and Rippling.
- Strong operational rigor and attention to detail while managing multiple candidates and cases.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in People Operations, Recruiting Operations, or a related compliance function.

## Nice to Have
- Experience supporting a DOT-regulated workforce or other safety-sensitive population.
- Experience building or substantially overhauling a pre-employment or background-screening program.
