> Build and demo agents/applications on Vercel's AI Gateway and Sandbox before public release. Create educational content, shape product direction with developer feedback, and own launch assets while tracking ecosystem needs. Requires 5+ years experience, strong TypeScript/Next.js, and a public body of work teaching developers.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build agents and applications on AI Gateway and Sandbox before they ship, then turn what you learn into demos, templates, and open source projects developers actually clone and run.
- Teach developers how to build with agentic infrastructure through writing, talks, videos, and live coding. Set the canonical examples the ecosystem emulates.
- Shape the products themselves by sitting in planning meetings with PMs and engineers, hitting rough edges first, and ensuring they get fixed before launch.
- Own important pieces of launches: example repos, launch demos, docs contributions, and the first wave of answers when developers start asking questions.
- Track how developers across the ecosystem are building agents, where they get stuck, and what they're reaching for that doesn't exist yet.

## Requirements
- 5+ years in engineering, DevRel, or DX roles, with software you can point to.
- Built and shipped AI applications or agents; know tool calling, model routing, and sandboxed code execution from using them.
- Strong TypeScript, and at home in the Next.js and AI SDK ecosystem.
- Public body of work: talks, posts, open source, or videos.
- Can take a half-finished API and produce a working demo and a clear explanation in the same week, often the same day.
- Changed a product roadmap with developer feedback.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Maintain or contribute to an open source project other developers depend on.
- Spun up a microVM and have opinions on why isolation matters for agents.
- Shipped something real on Vercel with the AI SDK.

## Compensation
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $168,000 - $252,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
