## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day shipment assignments and operations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate regularly with local partners and carriers.
- Run FMT, the internal Fulfillment Management Tool, twice daily to assign shipment schedules for the Execution team to place carrier bookings.
- Maintain FMT data, including allocations, sailing schedules, and cut-off dates.
- Execute pre-bookings, support trial shipments and hypercare, and submit rollover lists when necessary.
- Create best practices, develop functional enhancements, conduct automation studies, and provide feedback to technology and engineering teams.
- Analyze utilization and forecasts versus allocation.
- Manage and resolve operational exceptions and escalations promptly according to agreed service-level agreements.
- Build and develop local carrier relationships, including attending carrier meetings, tracking performance metrics, and collecting market intelligence on extra-loader plans, omissions, and blank sailings.
- Work with Ocean Procurement and Allocation & Yield on allocation planning and escalation handling.
- Manage hard allocation and provide feedback to Allocation & Yield on requirements.
- Prepare forecasts and request soft allocation to match surplus demand and secure space for clients.
- Optimize net revenue steering and deadfreight performance.
- Monitor OTE and other relevant performance metrics.
- Drive continuous process improvements.
- Take on additional projects and duties as assigned.

## Requirements

- Bachelor's degree with a strong track record of success.
- At least 2 years of experience at a startup, top consulting firm, NVOCC pricing, procurement or operations team, or in a supply-chain role.
- Hands-on experience with Transpacific trade is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong client-focused mindset.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Willingness to challenge the status quo and improve broken processes.
- Ability to become an expert in international trade quickly.
- Excellent email communication and organizational skills.
