## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop tracking, fusion, and state-estimation capabilities for unmanned autonomous systems.
- Design and build single-agent and multi-target detection and tracking algorithms.
- Develop decentralized multi-agent, multi-target tracking algorithms for swarms of unmanned autonomous systems.
- Take algorithms from concept through robust, deployable software for real-world autonomous systems.
- Collaborate with autonomy engineers, software engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Travel between company offices and customer sites as needed.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience developing tracking and fusion software for autonomous robotic systems.
- Experience processing measurements from optical sensors, RF sensors, radar, and lidar.
- Experience with classical state estimation and tracking, including Kalman filters and particle filters.
- Experience with multi-target prediction and tracking for autonomous robotic systems.
- Experience with cross-platform sensor fusion.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python, with strong procedural and object-oriented programming skills.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.

## Nice-to-haves
- 7+ years of hands-on experience developing tracking and fusion software for autonomous robotic systems.
- Familiarity with software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) development and testing.
- Experience working on national security projects for one or more government agencies.
- Interdisciplinary background and evidence of continual learning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to cross-disciplinary teams.
