## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Problem-solve, think big, and explore divergent concepts and ideas while understanding how to converge and build iteratively toward a vision.
- Plan strategically and think tactically as a partner with product and engineering to define the future of the team.
- Use research and data to influence the product’s direction while executing high-quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and cross-platform interactive prototypes.
- Advocate for design by sharing work and presenting cross-functionally, clearly articulating design rationale.
- Inspire cross-functional partners by bringing new ideas to the team.
- Create a unified, end-to-end experience through close collaboration with Product and Marketing Design teams.

## Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in UX, UI, HCI, or a related field, including web and mobile design.
- Experience working with lean teams of engineers, product managers, and program managers.
- Experience designing innovative desktop and mobile products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with user research methods and analysis.
- Expertise with Figma and other prototyping tools.
- Excellence in design craft.
- Ability to work effectively with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Interest in working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

## Compensation

- Expected base pay range: CAD $88,000–$110,000, excluding potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
