## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Support infrastructure that development teams use to own and operate their services.
- Guide technical decision-making and adoption of user-centric solutions.
- Create Claude skills and design agentic workflows that improve developer productivity.
- Guide team members and promote engineering standard methodologies, with a focus on usability and maintainability.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration for efficient and cohesive platform delivery.
- Write proposals and decision briefs for new policies, processes, and platform functionality.
- Create new platform features with a meaningful value proposition.
- Resolve unclear but urgent tasks.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in at least one of **Platform Engineering**, **Cloud Engineering**, **SRE**, or **DevOps**.
- Proven technical leadership experience.
- Expertise in several of the following: **ArgoCD**, **Grafana**, **Kubernetes**, **GitHub**, **Terraform**, **Helm**, **Backstage**, and **cloud cost optimization**.
- Proficiency in **Python**, **JavaScript**, or **Go**.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native technologies; **GCP** preferred and **AWS** acceptable.
- Excellent communication skills for aligning technology with user needs and organizational goals.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in ambiguity.
- Curiosity and interest in learning new things.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with distributed systems architecture and design.
- Knowledge of cloud security and governance principles.
- Experience designing agentic workflows.
- Database expertise.
- Experience building Internal Developer Platforms.
