## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own Ahrefs’ social media presence and execute daily content strategy across X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube Community, Instagram, and Reddit.
- Write platform-specific copy in the brand’s witty, humorous, insightful, and straightforward voice.
- Monitor social media trends, platform changes, and emerging formats.
- Create and curate content based on company news, product updates, industry insights, and cultural moments.
- Repurpose blog posts and videos into concise, social-first formats.
- Experiment with content types, hooks, cadences, and storytelling approaches to optimize engagement and reach.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams on brand campaigns.
- Monitor performance and engagement metrics and adapt strategy accordingly.

## Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media for a brand, with a strong understanding of platform nuances and audience behavior.
- Exceptional writing ability and a portfolio demonstrating concise, engaging, and often humorous social copy.
- Strong awareness of internet culture and social trends.
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to simplify complex or technical topics.
- Self-driven and autonomous, with the ability to identify opportunities, execute ideas, and iterate independently.

## Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS or B2B technology brands.
- Familiarity with Ahrefs tools and the SEO and marketing landscape.
- Basic image or video creation and editing skills for social media.
