## Job Description

## Core Responsibilities

- Lead design work across product stages, from early concepts and high-level workflows to micro-interactions and visual design.
- Conduct flexible, informal user research to guide design decisions.
- Create prototypes to communicate designs and validate decisions.
- Partner with product and forward deployed engineers to prototype and build products.
- Collaborate with engineers using familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Design software interfaces for users in government, commercial, and philanthropic contexts.

- Fluency sufficient to collaborate with engineers on frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
