## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the design, build, and maintenance of Imprint's corporate financial model and consolidated forecast, with a clear narrative behind every number.
- Own recurring financial processes including monthly reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Run the planning and forecasting cadence, monitor performance against plan, diagnose variances, and turn them into actions and recommendations.
- Build and maintain complex financial models for strategic decisions and ROI analysis.
- Own board materials and investor analyses, and improve how those materials are produced as the company grows.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams on business planning, investment decisions, and performance tracking.
- Provide decision support on strategic initiatives, pricing, and investments, evaluating trade-offs and P&L implications.
- Partner with Commercial, Risk, Growth, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Markets, and Data teams on planning, ROI, reporting accuracy, cash flow, and funding.
- Use BI tools to synthesize large, imperfect datasets into clear insights.
- Identify automation opportunities using AI tools such as Claude and Cursor.
- Support ad hoc strategic projects and business-case development.
- Present financial insights and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.

## Qualifications
- 6+ years across private equity or investment banking and in-house FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance experience.
- Investor perspective and understanding of board and capital-provider priorities.
- Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to work with forecasts, data, executives, boards, and investors.
- Ability to translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations and compelling narratives.
- Strong commercial judgment, intellectual curiosity, and confidence challenging assumptions.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity, minimal direction, fast-paced work, and startup environments.

## Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, payments, lending, or product-led companies.
- Familiarity with loan portfolio and cohort economics.
- Knowledge of unit economics and recurring-revenue frameworks, including CAC/LTV and cohort retention.
- Experience supporting diligence or board processes.
- Experience embedding AI tools into analytical workflows and automating data work.
- Experience in a high-growth or early-stage company.
