## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic sales partner, owning the technical relationship with prospects and customers.
- Partner with Account Executives to conduct discovery, qualify deals, uncover pain points, validate use cases, and align solutions to measurable customer impact.
- Validate technical feasibility and guide stakeholders toward alignment on end-to-end solutions.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations showing how Vanta automates and operationalizes GRC programs across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Validate standard and semi-complex integrations and alignment with customer environments, workflows, and architectures.
- Shape deal strategy, surface technical risks, and propose clear delivery pathways.
- Complete post-sale handoff documentation covering solution design, expectations, risks, and constraints.
- Provide structured customer and market feedback to the Product team.
- Support customers throughout their Vanta trial.
- Contribute to teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer, GRC consultant, or equivalent.
- Previous B2B SaaS experience.
- Ability to work in the Dublin office three days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
- Strong technical problem-solving, communication, storytelling, active listening, discovery, and demonstration skills.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud application architecture.
- General knowledge of a scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and project management skills.
- Prior cybersecurity, GRC, or audit experience is ideal.
- Willingness to use AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.

## Nice to Have
- Familiarity with REST API development and service integrations.
- Experience with GRC programs, compliance frameworks, auditing, or customer-facing GRC consulting.
