## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Nectar’s brand, positioning, and category narrative across the website, social channels, sales collateral, decks, and press.
- Build and own the content engine, including blog posts, customer stories, launch announcements, thought leadership, and point-of-view content.
- Drive product marketing for Nectar Agent and future launches, including messaging, naming, packaging, launch strategy, and adoption.
- Partner with founders on PR, analyst relations, and earned media.
- Build demand generation across the website, SEO, email, paid experiments, and lifecycle marketing.
- Plan and execute event strategy, including hosted dinners, conferences, and executive roundtables.
- Develop sales enablement materials, customer case studies, and competitive narratives.
- Translate product roadmaps into external storytelling and bring customer and market insights back to product teams.
- Establish marketing analytics, attribution, and reporting.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing experience at high-growth B2B SaaS or consumer technology startups.
- 1–2 years in an early-stage Seed or Series A environment building marketing from zero.
- Experience owning multiple marketing functions, including brand, content, demand generation, and product marketing.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, including the ability to explain complex AI and product concepts.
- Understanding of marketing to consumer brands, agencies, or marketing technology buyers; experience in beauty, CPG, retail, or e-commerce is preferred.
- Strong positioning and messaging skills for new or emerging categories.
- Bias toward shipping campaigns and launches independently.
- Fluency with modern AI tools.
- High ownership and comfort with ambiguity, rapid cycles, and direct founder feedback.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience marketing AI, automation, social, creator, or commerce platforms.
- Relationships with marketing, social, or digital leaders at consumer brands.
- Background in journalism, content strategy, or earned media.
- Experience building category-defining narratives.
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, and LinkedIn.
- Experience partnering with founders on PR, analyst relations, or executive communications.

## Compensation & Benefits
- $175,000–$250,000 annual compensation plus early equity.
