## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Review purchase requisitions and orders to ensure proper **CAPEX vs. OPEX** classification.
- Track and reconcile capital expenditures by project.
- Partner with Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to identify and capitalize in-service project assets.
- Reconcile the fixed asset sub-ledger to the general ledger.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly and year-to-date **PP&E roll-forwards** across consolidated legal entities.
- Prepare deposit and **Construction-in-Progress (CIP)** reconciliations.
- Prepare and record monthly close journal entries.
- Support monthly reporting and fluctuation analysis.
- Collaborate with the Tax team on property tax general ledger reconciliations and monthly accruals.
- Support audit and due diligence requests.
- Identify process improvements and drive efficiency.

## Requirements
- 4–6 years of combined fixed asset and general ledger accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of **GAAP** as it relates to CAPEX versus OPEX treatment.
- Working knowledge of internal controls and accounting best practices.
- Understanding of consolidations, joint ventures, and intercompany transactions.
- Exposure to month-end financial reporting processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
