## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Drive a strategic news program covering Crusoe’s data center development, energy, and real estate work.
- Build and maintain direct relationships with journalists across infrastructure, energy, real estate, technology, and financial media.
- Independently pitch and place stories with journalists and influencers.
- Support community and stakeholder engagement with Public Affairs and Government Affairs teams.
- Develop messaging with subject matter experts across digital infrastructure, energy, and real estate.
- Translate complex topics such as site development, power, construction, and data center operations into compelling narratives.
- Develop and place op-eds, keynote scripts, and social content with company spokespeople.
- Monitor media and community landscapes and coordinate strategic responses to issues and challenges.
- Help manage PR agency relationships, priorities, accountability, and resource allocation.
- Own communications reporting, including coverage, share of voice, and program outcomes.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in communications or public relations.
- Demonstrated success securing press results at top-tier outlets.
- Daily use of generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and related tools in communications workflows.
- Strong working relationships with journalists and influencers.
- Ability to independently pitch, place, and protect narratives.
- Exceptional writing ability with nuance, clarity, and human insight.
- Ability to execute proactively in ambiguous, resource-constrained environments.
- Collaborative, low-ego approach across infrastructure, energy, real estate, public affairs, and legal teams.
- Metrics-driven approach with a record of measurable communications outcomes.

## Nice to Have
- Experience in data center construction or development, energy, infrastructure, real estate, or AI.

- $160,000–$195,000 base compensation plus bonus.
