> Owns the enterprise identity, access, and deployment roadmap for a data platform, including authentication, authorization, administration, private networking, and regional expansion. Requires 5+ years of product management experience and direct experience shipping identity, security, or infrastructure products.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Own the roadmap for identity, access, and deployment across the dbt platform, from authentication primitives to customer-configured administration surfaces.
- Improve enterprise security capabilities including SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and PrivateLink.
- Lead the migration of existing enterprise customers from single-tenant to multi-tenant deployments, including account domain and subdomain changes.
- Determine requirements for expansion into new geographies and cloud providers, including data residency, regional isolation, and cloud provider parity.
- Improve login, sign-up, and account discovery experiences.
- Enable enterprise-scale self-service administration of users, groups, invitations, and permissions.
- Represent the product in enterprise security reviews and turn recurring customer blockers into roadmap priorities.
- Partner with infrastructure and platform teams on telemetry and observability for platform services.

## Success Measures

- Security and architecture reviews no longer stall enterprise deals.
- Sign-up and login conversion improve while authentication-related support volume decreases.
- Enterprise administrators can provision, de-provision, and audit users without support involvement.
- Engineering leadership relies on the product manager to set direction.

## Requirements

- 5+ years of product management experience, including meaningful experience with identity, access management, security, or infrastructure products.
- Direct experience shipping authentication and authorization products involving SSO, SCIM, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC, or identity providers.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS deployment models, tenancy, isolation, regional expansion, and migration paths.
- Strong technical foundation and ability to collaborate as a peer with engineering and participate in architecture and design reviews.
- Experience working with enterprise customers, especially security and platform teams, and translating feedback into prioritized product work.
- Excellent written communication and ability to explain security decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort operating asynchronously on a distributed team.

## Nice to Have

- Experience at an identity provider such as Okta, Auth0, or Entra, or with identity, access, or deployment products at AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience shipping private networking capabilities such as PrivateLink, VPC peering, or customer-managed network isolation.
- Experience working as a product owner within SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, HIPAA, or GDPR compliance frameworks and data residency requirements.
- Experience migrating a large customer base between deployment or tenancy models.
- Background in telemetry and observability for platform services.
- Hands-on experience with dbt, analytics engineering, or data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift.

## Compensation and Benefits

- New York pay range: **$188,496–$235,620 USD**.
- Compensation may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role.
- Compensation is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, education or training, business needs, and market demands.
- 100% employer-paid medical insurance.
- Paid time off, paid sick time, inclusive parental leave, holidays, a year-end Global Week of Rest, and volunteer days.
- RSU stock grants.
- Professional development and training opportunities.
- Virtual happy hours, free food, and team-building activities.
- Monthly cell phone stipend.
- Mental health support platform with therapy, coaching, and self-guided mindfulness resources for covered employees and dependents.
