## Job Description

## Core Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure initiatives that improve platform scalability, reliability, monitoring, and operational efficiency
- Design and maintain Terraform modules and Kubernetes deployments that support highly available infrastructure
- Build operational tooling and automation that improves software deployment processes and reduces manual effort
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation and contribute to incident response, troubleshooting, and postmortem analysis
- Improve observability through enhancements to monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
- Partner with Security teams to implement infrastructure policies, guardrails, and operational best practices
- Lead automation and modernization efforts across CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure workflows
- Create and maintain internal documentation, playbooks, and “paved road” solutions that improve developer experience
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in reliability engineering, automation, and infrastructure operations

## Required Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or related roles
- Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform/Terragrunt, and cloud-native infrastructure environments
- Proficiency with scripting or development languages such as Golang, Python, or Bash
- Experience managing production and staging infrastructure environments across cloud platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and operational tooling
- Understanding of monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management practices
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security standards and infrastructure compliance considerations
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Engineering and Security teams
- Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and contributing to infrastructure improvements at scale
