## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to enable customer adoption of Databricks' data and AI platform.
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, including MCSAs, SOWs, Order Forms, MSAs, NDAs, and legal amendments.
- Resolve legal issues to enable smooth and timely transactions, escalating to senior team members where appropriate.
- Support the end-to-end contract management lifecycle and advise sales and professional services teams on contractual risks and commercial matters.
- Test and adopt AI tools to improve contract review and legal-function efficiency.
- Contribute to process improvements and scalable legal practices.
- Provide sales enablement on contractual requirements, best practices, and contract management.
- Develop an understanding of internal structures, product offerings, technology, security and data protection positions, and policies.
- Support sales teams and customers during commercial negotiations.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to propose solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Cultivate cross-functional relationships with stakeholders supporting go-to-market efforts across EMEA.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Qualified lawyer or equivalent, with approximately 3 years' post-qualification experience.
- In-house experience at a leading SaaS company, or private-practice experience supporting one.
- Experience negotiating MSAs, NDAs, Order Forms, and legal amendments with enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, large CRM and contract management systems.
- Willingness to test and adopt AI tools to improve the efficiency and quality of legal work.
- Ability to manage and prioritize time and business needs amid competing demands.
- Experience working with sales teams.
- Appetite for supporting a data and AI company operating at hyper-growth scale.
