## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Pricing and Margin
- Design reusable pricing frameworks for new marketplace services and apply them to new offerings.
- Lead pricing analysis and recommendations for managed services, balancing competitiveness and margin.
- Own reporting on marketplace take rate and margin performance across services; diagnose underperformance by service, geography, or vendor segment and design corrective actions.
- Partner with Finance on cost-to-serve instrumentation and connected pricing and cost data.

### Supply-Demand Liquidity
- Monitor vendor supply adequacy and fit by service, geography, and price point.
- Own vendor tiering and ratings criteria, including preferred-vendor designations.
- Direct supply-growth priorities for Vendor Operations and Partnerships based on liquidity gaps.
- Monitor service penetration and work with Account Management and Customer Success to improve buyer utilization.

### New-Service Launch and Process Standardization
- Build repeatable frameworks for launching new marketplace services.
- Identify recurring operational gaps and convert them into standardized processes.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Vendor Operations to connect commercial and operational decisions.
- Resolve cross-side billing and dispute questions that span multiple teams.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, pricing or commercial strategy, or strategic finance.
- Experience designing pricing models, commercial frameworks, or margin-management systems.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Tableau.
- Track record of partnering with senior stakeholders on commercial decisions with significant P&L impact.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to build frameworks for ambiguous, unstructured problems and move between strategic design and hands-on execution.

## Nice to Have
- Experience at a marketplace, fintech, or B2B SaaS company.
- Familiarity with construction finance, lending, or real estate.
