> The Staff Accountant will support monthly close, reconciliations, payroll, tax compliance, revenue processes, and technical accounting within PDQ’s Corporate Accounting team. The role requires 2–4 years of accounting experience, US GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and a bachelor’s degree.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Prepare and review month-end close deliverables, including bank and account reconciliations and FloQast checklist items.
- Support multi-entity payroll processing, including PTO reporting, payroll tax, benefits reconciliation, and equity/ETU agreements.
- Own sales tax compliance in Avalara and Taxually; support income tax, transfer pricing, and VAT filings.
- Build budget-versus-actual and flux analyses for finance leadership.
- Maintain the chart of accounts and support NetSuite administration.
- Support revenue and deal desk processes, including multi-year deal reviews and commission calculations.
- Contribute to technical accounting projects involving equity compensation, capitalized software, goodwill impairment, and R&D credits.
- Partner with FP&A, Tax, Payroll, and the Controller’s team.
- Contribute to process improvements and strategic team initiatives.

## Requirements
- 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience; public or corporate accounting experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
- Experience with ERP systems and account reconciliation tools; NetSuite preferred.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with high volumes of transactional data.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage recurring processes accurately under deadlines.
- Adaptability, initiative, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset.

## Nice-to-haves
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA licensure.
- Experience with multi-entity or international consolidations.
- Exposure to equity compensation (ASC 718), revenue recognition (ASC 606), or purchase accounting (ASC 805).
- Experience with FloQast, Avalara, or similar close and tax automation tools.
- Interest in using AI and automation to reduce manual work.
