> The Solutions Engineer partners with sales teams and customers to demonstrate Snowflake’s data platform, translate business needs into use cases, and guide enterprise proofs of concept through implementation. The role requires strong presentation skills and experience with databases, data warehouses, ETL, analytics, cloud technologies, and SQL.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executive and technical audiences at customer and prospect organizations.
- Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate Snowflake’s value, identify use cases, and guide them from demonstrations through implementation and successful go-live.
- Present Snowflake innovations and explain the business value they provide.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
- Work with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, navigate sales cycles, deliver value-based demonstrations, support enterprise proofs of concept, and help customers expand their use of Snowflake.
- Travel as required.

## Requirements
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Broad experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technologies, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
- Ability to understand customers’ business problems and translate them into Snowflake use cases.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
