## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Strategy Development
- Lead semi-annual Company Kickoffs, translating annual goals and mid-year changes into a clear company narrative.
- Support annual planning by coordinating department inputs into aligned company goals, strategies, and plans.
- Prepare quarterly ELT Strategy Days, including topic selection, pre-reads, facilitation materials, and decision follow-through.
- Synthesize executive inputs into decision-ready documents, models, or presentations.

### Strategy Execution
- Own end-to-end preparation of board materials, including storylines, underlying data, and ELT review cycles.
- Maintain a reconciled source of truth for board and executive reporting metrics across Finance, GTM, and Product.
- Drive Weekly Business Reviews, Company QBRs, and company and ELT OKR tracking; identify off-track performance early.
- Track executive action items through completion and remove blockers with department operations teams.
- Improve operating cadences by eliminating duplicative or low-signal activities.

### Special Projects
- Own ambiguous, cross-functional COO Office initiatives from framing through delivery.
- Define project charters, including problem statements, success measures, decision rights, stakeholders, and timelines.
- Drive measurable outcomes without formal authority by influencing peers and executives.
- Transition completed initiatives to permanent owners with documentation and sustaining mechanisms.

### AI-Enabled Company Operations
- Build and maintain AI workflows for meeting preparation, action-item tracking, metric summaries, reporting pulls, and draft communications.
- Prototype workflows, measure time savings or quality improvements, and retire ineffective solutions.
- Document reusable AI workflows for adoption by the COO Office and partner teams.
- Establish guardrails using verified source data and human review for executive and board-facing outputs.

## Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in program management, business operations, strategy, or chief of staff roles.
- Experience supporting stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Systems-thinking approach to designing scalable mechanisms and processes.
- Strong ownership and ability to work effectively with ambiguity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, including adapting messages for individual contributors, department leaders, and board audiences.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, conducting ad hoc analysis, pressure-testing data, and translating results into recommendations.
- Experience with program management tools and methodologies, while managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Sound judgment and discretion with confidential board, financial, and organizational information.
- Ability to use conversational AI systems such as Claude, ChatGPT, and internal chatbots to research, author, review, and synthesize operational materials.
- Ability to build repeatable AI workflows, prompts, skills, or agents.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI output and identify when human judgment is required.

## Nice-to-Haves

- Experience preparing board materials at a private, VC-backed, or PE-backed company.
- Experience with post-merger integration or significant organizational change.
- Familiarity with Looker, Omni, and basic SQL.
- Light scripting or low-code automation experience for internal tools.
- B2B SaaS experience and familiarity with ARR, NRR, pipeline, and margin.
