## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver scalable, reliable software across the stack, including distributed systems and data-driven features.
- Collaborate with product and design to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
- Use AI development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code to improve implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
- Improve architecture and development practices through code reviews and refactoring.
- Contribute to technical strategy while balancing pragmatic decisions with long-term scalability and system health.
- Mentor and collaborate with peers to elevate engineering standards and culture.

## Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Track record of delivering high-quality applications and features to production.
- Experience designing and building distributed architectures, ideally in AWS.
- Understanding of separation of concerns, scalability, and loose coupling.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with relational and document-oriented databases, including performance tuning and scaling.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as React.
- Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern code management practices.
- Passion for clean code, design patterns, and continuous improvement.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

## Compensation & Benefits
- Annual base salary:
  - Level I: $98,000–$182,000
  - Level II: $119,000–$221,000
