## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end initiatives across Growth, including notification types, onboarding flows, off-platform surfaces such as invites or embeds, and web experiences that attract new users.
- Design across iOS, Android, Desktop, and Web.
- Create production-ready specifications and high-fidelity prototypes while balancing shipping speed with polish.
- Influence scope and strategy with product management, engineering, research, data science, and other cross-functional partners.
- Use data and research to inform decisions, validate designs, and understand user behavior.
- Consider how discovery, onboarding, off-platform touchpoints, and re-engagement work together as a cohesive experience.
- Communicate design work and rationale effectively, build relationships across teams, and drive projects autonomously.

## Requirements

- **3+ years** of product design experience designing consumer-facing digital products; strong candidates with **2+ years** may also be considered.
- Strong visual design foundation, aesthetic judgment, and skill with typography, color, hierarchy, composition, and design systems.
- Solid interaction design skills, including intuitive flows, information architecture, complex multi-step experiences, and systems thinking.
- High proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools such as ProtoPie, Framer, or Principle.
- Experience shipping products collaboratively with engineering, product management, research, and data science teams.
- Ownership mindset and a bias toward action, with the ability to advance projects and decisions independently.

## Nice-to-haves

- Personal use of Discord and passion for gaming or community platforms.
- Experience designing growth, onboarding, acquisition, or lifecycle products.
- Understanding of user growth across notifications, messaging, web, SEO, and shareable or viral loops.
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and data-driven iteration.

## Compensation and Benefits

- US base salary range: **$148,000–$166,500**, plus equity and benefits.
- Compensation details reflect base salary only and exclude equity and benefits.
