## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Guide the vision and technical direction for the Infrastructure, SRE, and Enterprise Governance Engineering teams.
- Recruit, build, and enable a high-performing engineering team that delivers critical value to developers and customers by solving complex distributed systems challenges.
- Oversee strategy and execution for components including cluster launcher, cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure/etc.), Kubernetes support, cluster autoscaling, control plane, data plane, reliability, billing stack, production database, and related components.
- Work closely with customers and the field engineering team to solve problems, understand challenges, and ensure customer success.

## Requirements
- Solid engineering management experience leading productive, high-performing teams.
- Record of helping teams scale quickly while maintaining a good culture.
- Ability to maintain a high hiring bar, motivate teams, coach/mentor, and handle performance management.
- Deep technical knowledge and experience in distributed systems.
- Prior experience working on Kubernetes and VMs.
- Strong track record of execution.
- Sense of urgency, results-oriented mindset, and excellent prioritization skills.
- Effective communication skills.
