## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Manage key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed variance analyses.
- Own critical balance sheet and P&L areas, such as revenue, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, or payroll accounting.
- Support annual financial statement audits, tax filings, and compliance deliverables.
- Partner with FP&A, Operations, and other teams to ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and consistent.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline accounting processes and drive operational excellence.

## Qualifications
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Accounting, Finance, or related field; **CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred**.
- **4–6+ years** of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and private industry.
- Strong understanding of **GAAP**, financial reporting, billing processes, and accounting operations.
- Hands-on experience with **Maxio** (or comparable system) for revenue, billing, or subscription management is required.
- **Advanced Excel/Sheets** skills; experience with modern **ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)** is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
