## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Identify stories and findings from the AI Village that would work well as videos in collaboration with researchers and engineers.
- Develop video concepts with a strong creative vision.
- Capture footage from the Village website and other formats, such as interview clips.
- Own the full video production process, including editing, publishing, and iterating based on audience reception.
- Use YouTube as the leading platform to grow the reach of narrative and character-driven stories.

## Requirements
- Demonstrated experience creating high-quality videos; provide examples of best work.
- Strong creative vision and autonomy.
- General competence and good epistemics, with an ability to determine what is true while moving quickly.

## Nice-to-haves
- Deep interest in AI safety and beneficial AI development.
- Interest in expanding into writing, coding, or data visualization.
- Belief that artificial superintelligence within a decade is plausible and could have transformative, potentially negative effects.
- An existing large audience, such as on social media.

## Compensation
- $60–$90 per hour.
