## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define and develop comprehensive test plans based on requirements.
- Trace test cases to requirements, set pass/fail criteria, and refine requirements based on test outcomes.
- Develop and implement test plans across multiple test layers, including **Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL)**, dyno, and vehicle testing.
- Define tooling needs to execute tests and evaluate results efficiently.
- Collaborate with systems, firmware, and hardware engineers to ensure implementations meet product requirements and desired functionality.
- Investigate firmware issues through data analysis and issue reproduction.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Systems Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience developing or testing embedded software.
- Experience with test automation using Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience writing code with source control, especially Git.
- Hands-on experience debugging complex systems involving networked microprocessors and software-controlled electrical or electromechanical devices.
- Experience parsing and analyzing log data and source code and identifying root causes.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and ability to quickly adapt to changes.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Working knowledge of drive units, power steering, actuators, braking systems, powertrain, and their interactions.
- Experience with Python testing frameworks such as Robot Framework and pytest.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment systems.
- Experience using JIRA, TestRail, Polarion, Jama, DOORS, or Xray.
- Experience in systems validation or integration.
- Ability to develop test plans based on FMEA and vehicle safety concept analysis.
