## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Negotiate and draft complex **service-level agreements (SLAs)** covering uptime, latency, and mean time to repair (MTTR).
- Manage transitions from legacy perpetual licenses to subscription-based cloud models across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Ensure vendor agreements comply with GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, and internal security standards.
- Monitor cloud consumption to eliminate unused licenses and inactive instances and drive cost savings.
- Manage contract timelines and co-terminous renewal structures.
- Enforce SLA compliance and negotiate credit claims when vendors miss performance or uptime commitments.
- Maintain accurate inventories of physical hardware assets, including routers, switches, and servers, and software licenses.
- Partner with technical, legal, financial, security, and executive stakeholders to translate technical requirements into business terms.

## Requirements
- 3–5 years of dedicated experience in IT procurement, technology vendor management, or legal contract administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of public and private cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and network security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and enterprise ERP tools such as SAP or Oracle.
- Understanding of intellectual property rights, liability limitations, and data processing agreements (DPAs).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused terms.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Certified Professional Contract Manager (CCCM) certification.
- Foundational cloud certification, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
- Experience managing data center hardware procurement alongside cloud software contracts.
