## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their environments, challenges, and observability requirements.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Design, scope, and manage technical evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Set up POCs in customer environments, demonstrate value, document findings, and present results.
- Partner with Account Executives on technical sales strategies throughout the sales cycle.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert from initial contact through contract execution.
- Provide customer and market feedback to Product Management and Engineering.
- Develop and maintain technical sales collateral, demo environments, presentations, and best-practice guides.
- Deliver technical training to the broader Sales organization.
- Travel to client sites and industry events as required.

## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in the software industry.
- Deep technical understanding and practical experience with observability concepts, including metrics, logging, and tracing.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience selling to Developer, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering personas.
- Experience at a fast-paced, high-growth observability or application performance monitoring company.

## Compensation
- Annual salary range: $165,000–$216,562.
