## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the expansion of insurance features and cost transparency, including roadmapping, prototyping, and leading 0-to-1 projects across the technology stack.
- Act as a stakeholder in product decisions and partner with business and product stakeholders to set direction.
- Analyze and decompose complex product challenges to drive sound design decisions.
- Write and ship production code using C#, React, and AWS for millions of users.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists.
- Mentor engineers and improve team throughput through coding standards, automated workflows, and continuous improvement.
- Improve engineering processes and technical capabilities to deliver quality solutions.
- Work with GenAI tools and technology.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and scaling high-performance, distributed backend systems.
- Experience shipping code for complex, user-facing products across multiple areas of the technology stack.
- Strong product-owner mindset and a record of delivering features with significant business impact.
- Well-rounded system design skills, including designing for high availability, fault tolerance, and graceful degradation.
- Experience improving developer productivity through coding, testing, deployment, and observability best practices.
- Experience mentoring engineers and promoting engineering best practices.
- Effective communication skills for technical discussions and cross-functional presentations.
- Experience evaluating and working with third-party vendors and data providers.
