## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design UI animations and build out character universe for mobile and desktop app.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to create engaging animations.
- Extend motion language to website, marketing creative, and brand moments.
- Experiment with motion, sound, and haptic integration for cohesive experiences.

## Requirements
- 2+ years in motion design, interactive media, game development, or strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in **Rive**, **Lottie**, **After Effects**.
- Character design using AI prompting and video generation tools.
- Technical collaboration with engineers on animation implementation and optimization.
- Knowledge of AI tools, game design principles, sound/haptic integration.
- Impeccable taste for brand-aligned motion design.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Motion design similar to Duolingo or consumer games.
- Performance optimization for web/mobile.
- General 3D skills (modeling, texturing, rigging, animating).

## Compensation
- $60-$100/hr (contract, open to remote, convertible to full-time in-person NYC).
