## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Build relationships with CIOs, IT executives, line-of-business executives, program managers, and other key partners.
- Drive value-based growth within enterprise accounts.
- Expand the Databricks footprint into new business units and use cases.
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Track customer details—including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasts—in Salesforce.
- Use a solution-based approach to sell and create customer value.
- Promote Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform powered by Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
- Prioritize opportunities and leverage appropriate resources.
- Build internal success plans at Databricks and external account plans.

## Requirements

- Experience succeeding in an early-stage company with limited oversight.
- Field sales experience in big data, cloud, SaaS, and consumption-based selling.
- Existing relationships with CIOs, program managers, and other key decision-makers at local accounts.
- Ability to simplify technical capabilities into value-based benefits.
- **7+ years of enterprise sales experience** exceeding quotas in larger accounts.
- Experience managing a small set of enterprise accounts rather than a broad territory.
- Bachelor's degree.

## Compensation

- Total compensation range: **$272,000–$374,000 USD**.
- Compensation may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
