## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead unboxing, setup, and customer training when work cells are delivered.
- Set up and test work cells on customer manufacturing processes.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain control components such as proximity sensors, relays, and vacuum ejectors.
- Triage, investigate, and resolve complex issues spanning software, hardware, sensors, and tooling.
- Perform root cause analysis and escalate issues when remote resolution is not possible.
- Respond to customer emails and calls, and make on-site service calls as needed.
- Identify opportunities to expand impact within customer accounts.
- Collaborate with Robotics Software, Hardware, and Product teams on deployments.
- Provide structured feedback to improve product reliability and field engineering experiences.
- Use AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, debugging, technical documentation, workflow automation, data analysis, and engineering output.
- Work flexible hours aligned with customer manufacturing production schedules.
- Travel to customer sites as needed, up to 75% of the time.

## Requirements
- 2 or more years of industry experience demonstrating hands-on hardware and software skills, preferably in manufacturing automation or a similar field.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in Tijuana and Mexicali, up to 75% of the time.
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond effectively to emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly, verbally and in writing.
- Strong, independent technical problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency working in Linux environments and with remote support tools.
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English, written and verbal.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Authorization to work in Mexico and maintain work authorization throughout employment.

## Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with industrial facilities and equipment.
- Basic experience with ROS, Python, and/or C++.
- Experience troubleshooting cyber-physical or hardware systems remotely.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to automate workflows, analyze data, or accelerate engineering output.
