## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing, global engineering organization.
- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and engineering excellence.
- Define the long-term technical vision and organizational structure for the AI Solutions team.
- Lead the technical design and development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions using Snowflake Cortex and Snowflake ML.
- Own end-to-end implementation of the AI Solutions product line, from concept through enterprise-grade production deployments.
- Serve as the senior engineering authority in customer engagements, partnering with Fortune 100 customers and go-to-market teams.
- Represent engineering in strategic planning, influencing headcount, budget, and product roadmaps.
- Partner with Product, Research, Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in AI methodologies and best practices.
- Travel up to 25% to engage with customers and global teams.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related major, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience.
- At least 4 years in an Engineering Director role, including experience managing managers.
- Deep technical expertise in AI and machine learning.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions using large language models, natural language processing, and generative AI technologies.
- Track record of delivering complex software solutions to enterprise customers.
- Experience scaling engineering organizations across multiple geographic locations.
- Exceptional cross-functional partnership and customer-facing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with strong project management and execution capabilities.

## Compensation
- Salary range: $264,000–$379,500 annually.
