## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain a fully integrated, scalable three-statement financial model and consolidated plan grounded in operational drivers, unit economics, and industry benchmarks.
- Own end-to-end planning across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, including equity planning, stock-based compensation, share count, dilution, and equity roll-forward.
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), scenario modeling, sensitivities, driver-based forecasting, and recurring forecast cycles connected to the long-range plan.
- Partner with functional and business leaders on bottoms-up budgets, top-down targets, forecast accuracy, and line-item ownership.
- Translate production ramps, R&D investments, contract timing, government milestones, and go-to-market strategy into financial outcomes.
- Build and own rolling cash-flow and liquidity forecasts covering working capital, inventory, milestone payments, production cycles, and capital expenditures.
- Model government contract payment timing, production curves, and program cash profiles; identify liquidity risks and support capital allocation and financing strategies.
- Create Board of Directors and executive quarterly business review materials, including narratives, financial packages, KPI dashboards, plan-versus-actual analysis, variance drivers, and strategic context.
- Partner with data engineering and systems teams to scale planning from Excel to modern cloud-based tools, automation, and analytics.
- Advise senior leaders on unit economics, efficiency, profitability, scale, capital allocation, and strategic planning.

## Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience, including significant corporate FP&A experience.
- Direct FP&A experience at a publicly traded company.
- Proven ownership of scalable three-statement models, AOP and long-range plan development, consolidated planning, and line-item ownership.
- Experience owning a company cash model and liquidity forecasting.
- Exceptional Excel modeling skills, including multi-scenario three-statement modeling, beat-and-raise frameworks, and driver-based forecasting.
- Strong GAAP proficiency and understanding of financial statement mechanics.
- Ability to build Board- and executive-ready materials and distill complex financial and technical information into clear insights.
- Systems-oriented mindset and ability to partner with data and systems teams.

## Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with government contract economics, milestone-based revenue, and program accounting.
- Experience with equity or stock-based compensation planning, share-count modeling, and dilution modeling.
- Exposure to manufacturing scale, supply-chain dynamics, and hardware production cycles.
- Experience implementing or scaling cloud-based planning tools such as Anaplan, Pigment, or Adaptive.

## Compensation
- Annual salary: $170,000–$250,000.
