## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead the design, validation, and deployment of advanced test systems for critical components and subsystems.
- Architect PCBs and test interfaces for power electronics, RF, and communication systems.
- Develop automated test sequences in Python for scalability, efficiency, and repeatability.
- Design and integrate custom test fixtures, including relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing.
- Own and drive cross-functional design reviews, advocating for design-for-testability (DFT) improvements.
- Perform HASS, ESS, and HALT testing to validate performance in simulated harsh environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hardware test engineering expertise.

## Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in hardware design and test engineering, or equivalent experience with advanced degrees.
- Deep expertise in electrical design, mechanical engineering, and software engineering principles as applied to hardware test systems.
- Ability to design, implement, and validate multidisciplinary hardware systems in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects from concept through execution.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills.

## Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA.
- Experience in rugged, high-reliability industries such as aerospace, defense, or automotive.
