## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Act as an expert-level talent advisor and strategic thought partner to engineering and product leadership, balancing immediate hiring needs against broader regional and organizational workforce plans. Shape talent acquisition strategy at a regional or functional level.
- Serve as a role model and mentor within TA and People Partnerships teams; challenge assumptions, influence without authority, champion change, and navigate ambiguity.
- Use market analytics, talent intelligence, and internal data to model talent scenarios, coach senior leaders on market trends, and adjust search strategies. Advise on success profiles, prioritization, location decisions, and trade-offs.
- Independently own end-to-end recruitment for complex, high-stakes R&D (Product & Technology) searches, including proactive sourcing and hiring.
- Design and scale in-region and global engineering recruiting programs and projects to maintain a high technical talent bar, including outreach, structured interview frameworks to mitigate bias, and high-signal candidate journeys.
- Build and maintain relationships with VP-level R&D leaders, HRBPs, and cross-functional partners (Total Rewards, Finance, TA Ops, TA COEs).
- Leverage AI, tools, and technology to stay current on technical recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, interview innovations, and workplace trends.

## Qualifications
**Required**
- Deep, comprehensive full-cycle technical recruiting experience hiring for software/ML/AI engineers, TPMs, and engineering management in tech or tech-adjacent environments (e.g., Fintech).
- Proven experience interfacing with and influencing VP+ executives, HRBPs, and cross-functional leadership.
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and negotiation skills with business acumen to navigate the competitive tech talent market.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a history of mentoring recruiters and steering cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated track record of designing holistic search strategies and leading org-wide talent initiatives.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a remote, fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Mastery of complex contract/compensation negotiation, executive closing, data modeling, analytics, market mapping, talent intelligence, ATS/CRM platforms, candidate relationship management, and AI recruiting tools.

**Desired**
- Experience hiring technical talent in North America and Latin America.
- Leading or participating in global TA and recruiting programs.

## Compensation
- Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C.: $141520 - $176900
- New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $149840 - $187300
- San Francisco Bay area, California: $166400 - $208000
- Eligible for equity plan, corporate bonus plan, health care insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave.
