## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demos and proofs of concept through design and implementation.
- Create and develop technical champions within accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
- Present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects.
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors, and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with other solution engineers to share learning from wins and losses.
- Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products and marketing.
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
- Collaborate with ecosystem and implementation partners on joint architectures, account strategies, and customer initiatives.

## Requirements
- Extensive solution engineering or solution architecture experience in a SaaS environment, or relevant experience in analytics, data science, or data engineering.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
- Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL or Python.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.

## Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience with modern data technologies such as dbt, Spark, containers, DevOps tooling, orchestration tools, and Git.
- Experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies.
