## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and train modern fully open foundation models focused on accelerating scientific discovery.
- Develop training pipelines and curate high-quality training data.
- Apply research findings to real-world AI systems and scientific applications.

## Requirements
- PhD-level foundation in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field.
- Significant experience building and training modern foundation models.
- Experience developing training pipelines.
- Experience curating high-quality training data.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Expertise in agentic training.
- Experience with multimodal data.
- Published research demonstrating applied research work.
- Extensive relevant work experience.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: $170,000–$270,000.
